The goal of the event was to reassess Ukraine’s cyberwarfare experience and apply it to the development of strategies for the Balkan countries and Europe as a whole, aimed at enhancing collective cyber resilience through the use of modern technologies, diplomatic tools, and public-private partnerships.
CyberLab’s representative, Karina Lubenets, was a speaker in the panel discussion on the topic “Practical Steps to Strengthen Public-Private Partnership in Cybersecurity Between Ukraine and the EU.” Karina shared the successful experience of our company in implementing projects alongside the state and emphasized that interaction and partnership in the field of cybersecurity are particularly relevant, as they provide more opportunities to counter the aggressor in the digital world. The topic of female leadership in cybersecurity also featured in the discussion. At CyberLab, there is no gender inequality, and we actively engage women in our team.
Additionally, during the presentation of the CEO of the “Parkovyi” Data Center, the CyberLab team’s contribution in addressing crisis situations during cyber incidents was highly praised.
The event took place on November 27-28, 2024, organized by the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCCS) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, CRDF Global in Ukraine, with the support of the U.S. Department of State, and in cooperation with the Information Security Administration of the Government of Slovenia (URSIV).
We are confident that expanding the scope of the international cybersecurity cluster will help foster communication and build partnerships to share Ukraine’s unique experience during the world’s first cyberwar.
