The event aimed to reflect on Ukraine’s experience of cyber warfare and apply it to the development of strategies in the Balkan region and across Europe. The goal is to strengthen collective cyber resilience through modern technologies, diplomatic tools, and public-private partnership.
CyberLab representative Karyna Lubenets spoke at a panel discussion titled “Practical Steps to Strengthen Public-Private Partnership in Cybersecurity Between Ukraine and the EU.” Karyna shared our company’s successful experience in carrying out projects together with the state. She stressed that cooperation and partnership in cybersecurity are especially relevant today because they create more opportunities to resist the aggressor in the digital space. The discussion also touched on women’s leadership in cybersecurity. CyberLab has no gender inequality, and we gladly welcome women to our team.
During a presentation by the CEO of the Parkovy Data Center, the CyberLab team’s work in helping resolve crisis situations during cyber incidents was highly praised.
The event took place on November 27–28, 2024. It was organized by the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center (NCCC) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and CRDF Global in Ukraine, with the support of the U.S. Department of State and in cooperation with the Government Information Security Office of Slovenia (URSIV).
We are confident that expanding the reach of the International Cybersecurity Cluster helps build communication and partnerships for sharing Ukraine’s unique experience during the world’s first cyber war.
