CyberLab took part in a workshop held as part of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center’s initiative to strengthen the role of women in cybersecurity. The event brought together representatives of the public sector, business, higher education institutions, and young women professionals for an open discussion of the challenges and opportunities in achieving gender balance in cyber defense.

CyberLab’s representatives took an active part in the workshop. They joined the discussion of pressing issues and helped develop ideas for future change, from government policy to private sector initiatives.

The workshop program included a panel discussion with international donors and businesses, the presentation of an analytical study, and an interactive crisis communication exercise in a brainstorming format titled “Cybersecurity with a Woman’s Face.” It also featured CTF for Women, a cybersecurity competition for women.

For CyberLab, taking part in the event is an important step in supporting inclusion, equal opportunities, and the development of women’s leadership in the cyber field.
