On October 26, the Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Examinations of the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, held an interagency scientific and practical seminar titled “Forensic Examination in Investigating Cyber Incidents and Cyberattacks: Practical Cases and Methodological Recommendations.” The seminar was held with the assistance of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting and Press (Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting), and LLC “COMPUTER FORENSICS LABORATORY.”
The event brought together experts, researchers, and representatives of Ukraine’s cybersecurity actors and other interested institutions, enterprises and organizations.
During the seminar, participants exchanged practical experience, reviewed current problems in conducting expert examinations, and discussed and jointly sought ways to resolve them.
