On November 9, 2023, a ceremonial event marking the 100th anniversary of the National Scientific Center “Hon. Prof. M. S. Bokarius Institute of Forensic Examinations” took place at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in Kyiv.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine Andrii Haichenko and Nataliia Tkachenko, Director of the Department of Expert Support for Justice at the Ministry of Justice.
Guests, partners, colleagues and invited foreign guests joined in the congratulations. Serhii Denysenko, CyberLab CEO, also gave a congratulatory address.
The participants also discussed the results of the work of forensic examination institutes during the full-scale war, as well as innovative ways to develop expert support for justice.
To mark the institution’s 100th anniversary, guests were presented with commemorative publications, a commemorative coin of the National Bank of Ukraine, and a canceled postage stamp issued for the anniversary of the National Scientific Center.
The event also included an exhibition of specialized technical equipment, where CyberLab and partners in attendance presented equipment designed for carrying out a range of forensic examinations.
The event combined ceremonial celebrations with a discussion of innovative ways to develop expert support. We are confident that, thanks to the synergy of everyone present, the field of forensic science will find the best paths for its development.
