On November 9, 2023, a ceremonial event was held in Kyiv at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine to mark the 100th anniversary of the National Scientific Center “Forensic Expertise Institute named after Honored Professor M. S. Bokarius.”
The event featured congratulatory speeches from Andriy Haichenko, Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine, and Nataliya Tkachenko, Director of the Department of Expert Support for Justice at the Ministry of Justice.
The celebrations were attended by guests, partners, colleagues, and invited international guests. Serhiy Denysenko, Executive Director of CyberLab, also offered his congratulations.
The discussion included the results of forensic institutions’ work during the full-scale war and innovative approaches to the development of expert support for justice.
In honor of the 100th anniversary, attendees were presented with commemorative publications, a jubilee coin from the National Bank of Ukraine, and a special postal stamp issued for the anniversary of the National Scientific Center for Forensic Expertise.
The event also featured an exhibition of specialized technical equipment, where CyberLab and its partners showcased equipment designed for conducting various types of forensic examinations.
The event combined ceremonial celebrations with discussions on innovative development paths for expert support, and it is hoped that the synergy of those present will lead to the best advancements in forensic science.
